I served with the 2nd platoon, C Troop, 2/1 Cav in Song Mao in 1970. I met some very cool and brave dudes there. When it was disbanded I was sent to Quang Tri to serve with the 5th Infantry Div (Mech). I made some very good friends with the 2/1 Cav and hated to see it disbanded. Hopefully, I will be able to meet some of them again someday. Stay cool.

My brother found some 8mm film from '69 got 'em transferred to dvd and gave them to me for Xmas! Good shots of Mike Leahy, Andy Minor (radio man and our buddy that kept the info leaks comin'from the capt. so we we're always way ahead of what was goin' on) Wolfman, Kofalvi, Hackett and yours truly. Maybe the pres. can figure out what to do as for as copies or maybe single frame pictures to the site or whatever. I'll do my best to get the copies made and in the mail to Dennis on Monday 40 years later!
