I served in F Troop from 1975 - 78, 2nd Plt Infantry Squad. Spent most of my time at Ft Hood with one TDY tour to Graf from Aug 76 to Feb 77. A lot older now and a lot slower but trigger finger still works fine!

Was with HQ Troop January 1966 to Jan 1968

I served in the 2/1 Cav from 1974 to 1977 as the Delta Troop Aeroweapons (AH-1G Cobras)platoon leader, the S-3 Air, and HHT Cmdr. I chose 1SG Harlan Stephens as my 1SG. 1SG Stephens was my Drill Sgt when I went through basic training at Ft. Knox in 1970. 2AD CDR, MG George Patton promoted me to CPT after an ARTEP. Many stories about him to tell.

I am curious to find any persons with whom I served during my time in the Cav.

I was assigned to B Troop 2/1 Cav 2nd AD, Ft. Hood, TX from 75-79

77 thru 80 with the blackhawks before going to 3AD. KEEP MAKING US PROUD.
